Module 1: Introducing Whole Person Health Care Into Your Practice; What It Is and How to Do It (H4C1)


Description
Welcome to this module, the first of five modules on how to change your practice to one that provides whole person care. In the first module we will present the concepts of whole person care and illustrate ways your existing approach to care can be adjusted to provide this care.

To get the most out of these modules, try to complete the module in a single sitting (generally 60 minutes). To receive CE credit, participants must register, view the content, complete the evaluation, and successfully complete the post-test with a minimum score of 75%. Certificates will be available electronically after successful completion of the activity.

The AAFP has reviewed Introducing Whole Person Health Care Into Your Practice and deemed it acceptable for 1.0 AAFP credit. Term of approval is from * to * . Following this CME activity, members of AAFP will have the opportunity to earn an additional two Prescribed credits for participation in each Translation to Practice® exercise. Information on Translation to Practice® will be shared within each activity.

AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
